In order to separate the private from the public space, various techniques are used which try to find the balance between providing a feeling of safety but also not being isolated or confined. The fascination of this tension of keeping a protective distance but also being part of something, mixed with the voyeuristic aspect, is what leads Jakob Francisco to create this ongoing series.
